Terms Entered in Search Tools
When a visitor types a name, place, or other term into a search tool, that query is sent to the third-party provider that operates the tool. Oregon County Released Inmates does not store or log those search terms on its own systems. The search provider’s privacy terms govern its handling of the query.
Messages Sent to Us
An email or contact-form submission may contain a name, email address, and any details the sender chooses to include. We retain that message as needed to review it and respond. Message content is not shared outside the organization unless disclosure is required by law or a valid legal process.
Information Collected Automatically
Ordinary web technology can create technical records each time a page loads. These records help operate and assess the site and may include:
- The visitor’s Internet Protocol address
- Browser name, type, and version
- Device category and operating system
- Pages viewed and time spent on them
- The referring website, when one is supplied
- Date and time stamps associated with requests
Cookies and Similar Storage
Cookies may be used to understand how visitors move through Oregon County release-record pages and to support analytics or advertising. Browser controls can reject or delete cookies. Blocking them may cause some tools, preferences, or ad functions to work differently.

Some advertising providers may use their own technology to recognize activity across different websites and select interest-based ads. That tracking occurs within the provider’s systems, not within records maintained by Oregon County Released Inmates.
Parties That May Receive Data
We do not sell personal information. Limited information may be handled by the following parties when needed for the stated function:
- Search partners that receive and process submitted queries
- Analytics providers that measure visits and page performance
- Advertising networks that deliver and assess advertisements
- Law enforcement or government bodies acting under a valid legal order
Reasonable Security Measures
Standard administrative and technical safeguards are used to protect information within our control. No website, transmission method, or internet-connected storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Oregon County Released Inmates therefore cannot promise that an unauthorized disclosure, loss, or security incident will never occur.
Visitors Younger Than Eighteen
This site is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. A parent or guardian who believes a minor sent personal information may use the Get in Touch page to request review and deletion.
Your Privacy Choices
Subject to applicable law and our ability to verify the request, a visitor may ask us to:
- Provide a copy of personal information we hold about that visitor
- Correct inaccurate personal information
- Erase personal information that is eligible for deletion
- Stop or opt out of certain processing where that choice applies
These requests cover information controlled by Oregon County Released Inmates. A visitor must contact a linked sheriff, court, corrections agency, search provider, analytics service, or ad network about data controlled by that separate entity.
Changes to This Notice
This Privacy Notice may be revised as site functions or legal duties change. A revised version will be posted on this page and will show a new effective date. Continued use after publication means the updated notice applies to later activity.
